1. THE DISCOVERY MEETING

When we first make contact, your experienced NRG Finance Broker will ask you a number of detailed questions to determine your current financial situation and make sure that we are properly prepared for our meeting with you. Getting to know you and understanding your current financial circumstances and your specific needs means that we can identify the lender, loan type and product that is right for you. Once a convenient time for a meeting has been arranged, you will receive a confirmation email with a list of documentation you will need to bring along. Alternatively, you may be asked to complete our Client fact finder and return it with the supporting docs prior to our meeting.

2. TAILORING YOUR SOLUTION

Once your financial needs and loan requirements have been discussed and all information confirmed with you face to face, we will compare and identify the best loan and lender for your particular situation. The loan application process will be fully explained, and any hidden costs associated with your loan product will be made clear. We will also identify any other fees that will arise in the process of the financial transaction and will assist you in completing the loan application forms.

3. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Once we receive all of your supporting documentation, we will prepare, package and submit the loan application to the lender and ensure that it is processed in a timely manner. Your dedicated NRG Finance Broker will be heavily involved assisting in the smooth processing of your loan. Their input during this part of the process makes a huge difference to the outcome. At this stage we may also arrange bank valuations and contact any 3rd parties to introduce ourselves such as your conveyancer or accountant.

4. THE APPROVAL PROCESS

As soon as your loan is approved we will notify you and continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure the documentation is finalised quickly. We liaise constantly with your solicitor, lender, real estate agent and any other relevant parties, so you can relax knowing your loan has been approved and is progressing as needed.

5. SETTLEMENT

Once your loan documents have been signed, either in the presence of your solicitor or NRG Finance Broker, we will return them to the lender in preparation for settlement. We will continue to liaise with your solicitor in the lead up to settlement to ensure that everything continues to run smoothly.

6. ONGOING SUPPORT

Once your loan has been settled we will make sure that everything is finalised. It’s at this point that the journey really begins.
